With steely resolve Mark took the steering wheel in hand and faced down the collective driving population of Rome. Granted our Daewoo rental car could barely make 60 mph, and was more likely to be the loser in any confrontation on the road. But with the battle joined we made our way safely to Florence, and to Villa La Toricella in the Florentine hills.
