Music

Music played a large and varied role in our wedding day. We began with the Trinity College Chapel grand pipe organ for the ceremony.

As guests arrived at Powerscourt Estate for the reception, a harpist was playing in the garden. She also provided delightful background music during dinner. The highlight of the harp music was the beautiful and uplifting piece played as the bride and groom made their grand entrance into the ballroom.

Following dinner the evening went from serious ceremony to serious party as The Sean Norman Ceili Band began to play. Irish and Americans danced their feet off...even if they didn't really know what they were doing. :-)

To give guests a "rest" between ceili sets a D.J. entertained them with 60's, 70's and 80's tunes. Amazingly, the dance floor remained full! grand organ
